Title of the stud: A proposed program based on Negotiation Approach in
developing the skills of historical research for the student Teachers of History
Department
This research aimed at recognizing A proposed program based on negotiation
approach in developing the skills of historical research for a sample of the student
teachers of history department. The researcher used the semi experimental
approach to answer the questions of the study. The study sample consisted of 25
student of historical department .One experimental group is used . The pre test of
historical research skills is applied , then teaching the proposed program and
finally the post test is applied on the research group.
Data is interpreted and then the results is analyzed. The study results indicated
the effectiveness of a proposed program based on negotiation approach in
developing the skills of historical research for a sample of the student teachers of
history department. The researcher recommends using negotiation approach in
teaching courses that it has a positive effect on the process of teaching that the
students participate in a social atmosphere including respect and self efficacy.
