A proposed unit based on Scamper approach and its effect/
effectiveness on improving Innovative Thinking skills for first
preparatory stage students in social studies
The study aimed at identifying the appropriate Innovative Thinking skills for
the preparatory stage, identifying the available (existing) ones in social studies for
first preparatory stage, setting up (building up) a proposed conceptualization for a
whole unit based on the Scamper approach, and measuring its effectiveness in
improving the appropriate Innovative Thinking skills for first stage students in
social studies. A list of the appropriate Innovative Thinking skills was also- built
up (set up) for the preparatory stage. A pre- post -test was- built up for
measuring the existed Innovative. Thinking skills on both control and
experimental groups. According to ( In the light of) the results, a proposed
conceptualization for a whole unit based on the Scamper approach was built up
(set up) for the experimental group, and its effectiveness was wellverified(
validated) in improving the Innovative Thinking skills for first preparatory
students in social studies for the experimental group.
